In today’s computer aided design lesson we looked at creating our own digital patterns on the theme of organic structures. This time we experimented creating the imagery from scratch using the brush and shape tools in adobe illustrator.
We then experimented with colour settings, duplicating the graphic image. I really enjoyed playing around with colour schemes to experiment with pattern and focal points.
I‘m really looking forward to learning more about digital design and being able to compile my textiles research/ideas into a pattern composition.
